Karnataka is abode of its rich art, culture and heritage. The Government of Karnataka has adopted a tradition of celebrating 'Nada Utsava' throughout the state, in order to rejuvenate and promote this rich culture and heritage and to inculcate the spirit and joyous feelings and respect about our heritage among the common man. The monuments of Hampi are the replica of the then political, cultural, religious and social events of thrilling nature. The purpose of celebrating 'Hampi Utsav 3rd to 5th November 2006' is to recollect and represent the the glorious rule of Vijayanagara Kingdom. The organisation of this Utsava besides providing the experience of rich cultural heritage of the region and the nation at large, also aims to provide joyous moments to the common man in the midst of pains and pleasure of his daily routine life.
